Meditation


This is something I haven't thought much about in a while. Last night I was talking with a friend who had just visited the Tibetan Cultural Center in town and he was telling me about how he is getting into meditation.

I am a certified yoga instructor and my focus was walk-thru meditation. Our conversation inspired me to get out my yoga books and read last night. I forgot how it calms the mind and can help you learn to be still in encounters and think before you act or talk. These are two things I really need right now. My mind is always racing with ideas and thoughts and worries. I am going to start setting time aside everyday to get back into meditation. I remember how amazing it was when I used to do it.
